Hi, I am Ashish Mitra, a QA engineer who writes TesterPath to share what actually works when you test real software.
What I do
I work as a QA engineer with hands-on experience in manual testing and API testing. Earlier, I interned in QA at Central Coal Limited and Lifetech Software, where I wrote test cases, reported bugs and re-tested fixes on real projects.
I hold an MCA from GL Bajaj College of Technology and Management and a BCA from Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University.
Why TesterPath exists
Most testing tutorials explain the theory and stop there. When I was learning, I wanted guides that showed the exact steps, the real error messages and what to do when things break. TesterPath is that guide.
I am currently moving from manual testing into test automation with Selenium and Playwright, and I document the journey here so you can learn from my mistakes instead of repeating them.
How I write every guide
- I run every step myself before publishing it.
- Screenshots come from my own screen, not stock images.
- If a tool changes, I update the post and its date.
- If something is my opinion, I say so.
